to a meeting to raise funds for Harley

Bands are lining up throught Stockport to play this gig

Starring The Brilliant singer January

has already beaten overwhelming odds to stay alive

Despite lying in hospital being fed drugs to ease his pain the 4 year old

manages to smile

and while the 4 year old who has had all 4 limbs amputated after being struck down by meningitis now faces a daunting future but he has a devoted family to back him up

Mum Samantha (23) said we have just got to get on with it and do our best for our son

the enormity of the future is frighteing but we have to face the facts we will have to look after Haerley around the clock, "At fist I thought he was going to go " but slowley he has started to get better and recently I have been looking at our Harley and it is the Harley we used to know only without the limbs,Harley can talk to us but gets easly tired because of the drugs said Husband Adam (20) as they launch The Harley Slack fund,Harley was taken into hospital in May with a sore throat and a temperature withing hours he was fighting for his life after being diagnosed with meningitis B,Medics at the Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital revived Harley 3 times

aftere his heart stopped and then Septicamia set in,Both arms were amputated below the elbow and both legs below the knee and the doctors feared he may loose his ears and nose,Harley is likely to be in the high dependency unit all year said Samantha who has quit work to look after him she said Harley was a energetic boy one day who would make the most of life ne day we were looking forward the next our whole world has changed,Harleys parents want to raise cash to pay for the very best artificial limbs which could cost up to £100,000 they aalso need to adapt there home and take time off work to be with Harley.
