Hey I just wrote a protest song

It's finally happened ,I have been singing about Bob Dylan
for that long I am turning into him,This new song is mainly
about why our wonderful government Cancelled the
"Promised" metrolink "up north" when they thrown people
out of there homes so that the tram link could go ahead
and ironically use the same money that they have saved
to go and bomb other people out of there homes in Iraq
The song is called "Tony do as you are told"
I feel like Billy Bragg or is it Billy Bradshaw??

Did I see Paula ??

I was driving home last night from a gig
and Im sure I seen
Paula Radcliffe
sitting on the pavement in Mossley.
I was going to ask her to get me a morning paper
but I decided it would be quicker if I got it myself

The Olympics,Its all Greeke to me.

Its here again ,the Olympics, you know the time when you get excited about sports just because it's GB ,I found myself on Day one today watching ,Sailing,Fencing, Judo, and Badmington ,and I didnt understand the fencing as the looser was still alive,The Sailing never had a bar-B-Q on it,and it never went past a nudist beach, what's that Judo all about then???,AmI getting old or could you not see the shuttlecock as well ,I know there is the tiddlewinks qualifiers to come very soon so I am looking forward to that,
Iwill keep you updated on the Olympics as I see it,
(I love it really )

Took the geese abroad last night

I traveled to Leeds last night to play an acoustic night,I was a little apprehensive about my material wondering how Ancoats songs would go down in a city that had maybe never heard of the place,It was only after I had been on stage that I realised that the vast majority of city centres have there very own Ancoats and that's why Our New Ancoats Masionette went down a storm, so ye I now intend to get out there and start breaking the boundaries,
